11th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup Postponed Until Saturday, April 14

PHILADELPHIA (April 5, 2018): Due to the forecasted inclement weather for Saturday, April 7th, the Streets Department has postponed the 11th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup one week, until Saturday, April 14th , announced Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams.

The forecast for this Saturday calls for a snow, sleet and rain mixture. “While we are excited to kick off the cleaning season through our annual event, we hope to have better weather next week for volunteers to complete their clean-up projects,” said Streets Commissioner Williams.

All previously registered projects submitted for cleanup will still be held on April 14. City residents and organizations involved are urged to hold on to their supplies and rally more neighbors, family and friends. Join us on Saturday, April 14 as we work to beautify our City together one block at a time.
