Sat. Closures: Cresheim Valley Dr., Walnut & Chestnut Sts & Ramona Ave for Roadway Maintenance

PHILADELPHIA – Several roadways across the city are scheduled for Saturday roadway maintenance announced Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams.  Roadway restrictions are in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following streets:

  • Cresheim Valley Drive between Germantown and Stenton Avenue - full-temporary closure for resurfacing. Alternate routes for this stretch of roadway include Willow Grove Avenue
  • Chestnut Street between 63rd and 33rd Streets - temporary lane restrictions for roadway mantenance. Alternate routes include Spruce and Market Streets
  • Walnut Street between 33rd and 63rd Streets - temporary lane restrictions for roadway maintenance. Alternate routes include Spruce and Market Streets
  • Ramona Avenue between Adams and Wyoming Avenues - temporary closures for roadway maintenance. Alternate routes include Castor Avenue

Detour routes will not be posted. The lane and roadway closures will allow City employees to make repairs to the roadway. This work has been scheduled for Saturday in order to expedite the repairs and minimize the disruption to motorists. 

For the duration of the work, Streets Department crews will make every effort to minimize the inconvenience to affected drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians.  The Streets Department thanks residents in advance for their patience and cooperation during this project.
