Fairmount Park

Making Fairmount Park the best that it can be is a collective effort. No one group alone can oversee its maintenance and growth. We know that volunteer support is essential to the Park's continued existence and future success. So, we're asking you to play an active role in helping us preserve and improve our Park landscape. Set aside a day and come out to Fairmount Park. Together, we can make our city neighborhoods better, keep our historic sites in mint condition, protect our open spaces and parklands and improve the overall quality of life in our communities and the city.

Coming to a park near you soon...LOVE YOUR PARK, Saturday, May 8, 9:00 a.m. until noon.

LOVE THAT PARK is a collaborative effort of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the community, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, and Greater Philadelphia Cares. Join hundreds of volunteers from across the Greater Philadelphia region, as they roll up their sleeves to repair trails, remove invasive vegetation, plant, paint, and clean up the city's park system

Please call 215-683-0217 or e-mail barbara.mccabe@phila.gov to find a project site near you
